Who Keeps it Pumping?

The Out of Bounds Church

Steve and Lynne Taylor are keeping futurechurch NZ pumping through their Angel Wings Trust. Steve teaches in practical theology and on postmodernity, leadership and contemporarary culture with the Bible College of New Zealand.  Lynne is Researcher for the Baptist National Resource Centre.  Steve is Senior Pastor of Opawa Baptist Church.  They have two daughters.

Steve is the author of the recently published book “Out of Bounds: learning to create a community of faith in a culture of change” which you can buy at the futurechurch Online Shop

OF COURSE: you really keep it pumping by adding your group,

visiting the site,  being a part of the network, giving a donation ....

How did it start?

A SHORT HISTORY: futurechurch was a project of the (now defunct0 Anglican based Women's Resource Centre with funding from the Methodist Future's Group. The project began in late 2001 and had funding for five years.  This funding was withdrawn in 2005, and the project became reliant on goodwill from those using the site, and spare time of Steve Taylor.  Although we received funding and support from the Anglican and Methodist Church, futurechurch was and is ecumenical and non-denominational.

Rosemary Neave was the futurechurch networker until mid 2005 working out of her home in Waipu North of Auckland, where she runs a women's guest house - Waihoihoi Lodge.  You can also keep track of her via her Spirited Conversations Blog.
